Okay... So my little Petunia is getting fresh greens, squash, carrots, and zucchini every night (she prefers night time eating).
She gets atleast one big 'ole nightcrawler wormy thing every other day (dusted with a little calcium) and her greens are topped with a strawberry and sometimes chunks of nectarine or peaches if I have it, atleast twice a week.

I'm noticing ALOT of food being thrown out. Am I going into overkill and feeding her too much?

And everyone has told me how much turtles and torts like tomatoes, but she really doesn't seem to care for them that much! Its odd...

Well I can only say that it takes practice getting the right amount of food .Especially when it's a small one. i think you will learn what she needs It does take a little time and trials to find the right combo of amounys to get the reght amount. You can never over feed, just a little waste and that ain't bad.As long as she gets proteen 'worms' and veggies and fruit she is doing good. You are doing great wutg calcium cause they need that forver. Not too much but they do need it for their shell etc. 'K' you are doing good!! Since she is growing her appitite will change for awhile. Soon she will get on a good scheduale and her requirements will be leveled out. She is cutie for sure. Remember no question is too stupid to ask. The only dumb Question is the one you don't ask!

LOL... My dad used to say, "Theres no such thing as a stupid question. Just stupid people."
He never had many friends...

Thank you for the help, Tom.
Now another question: Since we just moved and shes in the garage area with all the other reptiles, theres only one electrical outlet out there and I worry that she won't get a proper amount of UV. So she is spending the bulk of her day outside. It has been INCREDIBLY hot lately, so I make sure she has a source of clean water so soak in and plenty of shady spots.
Should I be leaving her out all day? (About 8-10 hours) Or would just a few hours do?

Also, she needs a cage redecorating. Would she benefit from a rough stone or cuttle bone for her beak? Do they need those?

you can also give her berrys black, red, and even cherrys with out pits grapes with out seeds in her diet and cuddle bone is ok to give and she dont need to be out in the sun for 8-10 hours a hour aday is fine dont over do it on protien just once a week as for the amount of food given for 1 turtle i would say about no more then a cup or half a cup only becouse she will consume what she wants from it and then you can more judge out how much to give her

Sherry would know better about the amount of time turtles need outside. As for my herd they live outside 24 hours a day. They have plenty of places to hide in the heat of the day plus three water pools to swim and hang out in. It's a turtle resort lol.I have a bunch of turtles from Sherry and I have noticed that they get darker skin in the Florida sun and heat. But they are on the east side of the house so they get early morning direct sun and shade and daylight in the afternoon. In they early evening they all come out to play forage for food swim and durinf thunder storms they do The Love Dance lol.I have my Redfoot tortoise's in the same area as the turtles cause it is damper there and the turtles don't mind. My Sulcatas are in a different area that is both dryer and hotter cause of More daytime sunlight.
